Can I Afford Recovery Ways?

Deferring or avoiding treatment for your disease of addiction should not be an option. Your condition will continue to deteriorate, destroying your ability to be productive, ruining friendships, alienate relationships and will ripple into the life of loved ones.

Recovery can be funded in many ways or a combination of funding sources.

Down Payment

As a minimum, you will be required to make a partial payment to demonstrate your commitment to your program.

Insurance Benefits

Many medical insurance policies provide benefits for formal treatment of substance abuse. We can assist you to verify your policy benefits. Recovery Ways does not process insurance directly. Instead we will refer you to professional associates that specialize in insurance benefit claims.

Loans

Recovery Ways can refer you to associate financial groups that specialize in financing medical treatment. They will outline various ways of funding part or all of your treatment cost.

Grants/Subsidies

Many foundations offer grants, subsidies and even “forgivable loans.” Usually they will expect you to make a financial commitment to your treatment as a sign of good faith and that you are commitment to your recovery.
Depending on your personal circumstances and availability of other funding we may be able to refer you to a charitable organization that can assist.

Which Cost More—Habit or Recovery?

Investing in your treatment may actually cost less than you are spending now on the substance of your choice.

For example:
Assume that you or your family pays a portion of the cost. Insurance pays another portion.
And then you borrow $10,000 @ 8% interest for 4 years. The monthly payment would be about $250 per month which is:

  • Less than most car payments
  • About $8.00 per day
  • About the cost of lunch at a fast food restaurant
  • And significantly less than you spend each month purchasing the substance of your choice!

Deferring the purchase of a new car or other luxuries is not life threatening. Deferring the treatment of a substance abuse problem could kill you!

Other

There are other charitable and religious organizations that may also help you fund treatment if you are truly committed to your recovery.
